Reilly Smith, Gregory Campbell and Seth Griffin also scored for the Bruins. Leading scorer Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic sat with undisclosed injuries.

UNDATED (AP) — Former San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has agreed to become the new coach at Michigan. Harbaugh coached the 49ers to three straight NFC championship games. He parted ways with the team in what both sides called a mutual decision after the 49ers slipped to 8-8 this season and missed the playoffs.

NEW YORK (AP) — Detroit defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (ehn-DAHM’-uh-kehn soo) has been suspended for this Sunday’s wild-card playoff game against Dallas. The league says Suh was suspended for stepping on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ left leg twice. Suh also applied pressure and pushed off Rodgers’ unprotected leg with his left foot.

DALLAS (AP) — Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi is in for quite a curtain call. The Spartans play high-powered Baylor at the Cotton Bowl in Narduzzi’s final game with them before he takes over as Pittsburgh’s head coach. Narduzzi says he didn’t want to let down his defense after eight years with the Spartans.
