Robotic vacuum raising privacy concerns

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The company behind the popular smart vacuum, Roomba, is looking to sell its mapping data to giant technology companies. The latest models of the robot vacuum collect mapping and navigation information simply when it cleans.

The CEO says the data could be sold to improve the overall functionality of a smart house and allow for more smart devices in the future.
