Large tech companies come together to combat online terrorism

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Over the past few years social media has changed how we use the internet. Now some of the biggest tech companies have come together to stop terrorist groups from using the platform to gain a following.

Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft and Youtube have just announced The Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism” which is group designed to create formal guidelines between online services to stop terrorists from using its platforms.
