Gov. Snyder and HHS Secretary Price speak out on opioid addiction

UPDATE (11:35 a.m.) – White House advisor Kellyanne Conway joins Gov. Snyder to underline President Trump’s dedication to meeting the challenge of opioid addiction. HHS Secretary Price emphasized the heavy cost in human lives lost to opioid addiction. Sec. Price, returning to the city in which he was born, said research is important in resolving the opioid crisis. As a medical doctor Sec. Price said pain management must be examined to break the opioid addiction cycle. See more of their comments from today’s news conference in the video above.

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – The growing opioid addiction epidemic is the focus of a meeting today between Governor Rick Snyder and U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Tom Price. The two will hold a news conference momentarily that will be livestreamed on this page.
