UPDATE 6:06 a.m. – There is now a description of the man East Lansing Police say could be impersonating an officer.
The man is described as in his late 20s to mid-30s.
He is about 6 feet tall with green eyes and short brown hair.
Officers say he also has a scar or birthmark on his cheek.
He was wearing a blue, police-style uniform that had a dark stripe running down the side of his pants.
The uniform also had a “red and blue” patch with a gold shield on the sleeves.
The man was carrying a gun in a holster.
Police tell 6 News he was driving a white Ford Taurus that had lights similar to police cars and the words “Lansing” and “Police” on the side.
