LANSING, Mich (WLNS) -There is new information today on a homicide that happened in Lansing last week.

Police tell 6 News they have one suspect in custody but another one is still on the loose and considered armed and dangerous.

Back on November 21 police say 27-year old Matthew Smoke was killed outside of a business on the city’s south side.

Today 24-year-old Derabian Carthell (seen at left) is charged with his murder and is facing other felonies, including armed robbery.

The man police are still trying to find is Marcell Davis (seen at right) and officials say he may be armed.

He’s 21 years old and could still be in the greater Lansing area.

Davis was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and jeans.

Last night he was the subject of an intense air and ground search that began around 5:00 p.m. near the Hillcrest Street area between S. Martin Luther King Blvd and Pleasant Grove.

If you see Davis stay away and call “9-1-1” or Crime Stoppers immediately.
