DELHI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A man only received minor injuries after his car was cut in half by a tree

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night on a lawn near the intersection of Washington Road and Old School Lane in Delhi Township.

Police believe the driver was driving too fast and lost control of the car.

They say the driver was from Holt, and that he was “very lucky” to walk away alive. He was taken to a local hospital for some bumps and bruises and will be fine.
