UPDATE: Man in hospital after being stabbed near library

UPDATE 11:45 a.m. – Eaton County Sheriff’s deputies tell 6 News that a second man was treated for knife wounds after an early morning fight in Delta Township today. As 6 News first reported a 19-year-old man was stabbed multiple times. Now deputies say a 17-year-old man was also treated. Investigators say there were three men involved in the fight. None of the injuries are life-threatening. No arrests have been made yet and the investigation is continuing.

EATON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) – Eaton County Sheriff’s officials say man is being treated at a local hospital after being stabbed early Tuesday morning.

Deputies were called to the Delta Township Library shortly after 2:00 a.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Officials say the 27-year-old victim was found at a nearby apartment building and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police have not confirmed how serious the victim’s injuries may be.

No arrests have been made.

Officials say the incident is not a threat to the public.
