Williamston High School hopes to hoop their way to records

(WLNS) – WIlliamston High School will be having an ongoing basketball game for 18 hours today to raise funds for former Coach Jason Bauer who is currently battling cancer.

Staring bright and early at 6 a.m. players took the court to start playing basketball and different teams from third grade through adult aged will be playing through the day to hit 18 hours straight.

The event is doubling as a fundraiser to help Coach Bauer and his family book a trip to Disney as a thank you for all he has done for the school and team.

There will be a silent auction from 8 a.m. through 6 p.m. and after the time is up at midnight, the team will reveal this years Varsity team.
