Annual Silver Bells Holiday Celebration

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – The 32nd Annual Silver Bells in the City celebration will have a Green and White feel to it this year.

Former MSU and NFL great Todd Duckett will be the Grand Marshal for the 20th Annual Electric Light Parade Friday in downtown Lansing.

Duckett will lead an assortment of 75 brightly-illuminated floats and bands Friday night.

One of those floats will be carrying some of your 6 News friends.

Watch for Jim Geyer, Chivon Kloepfer, Emily Wahls and others on the colorful, very bright, float.

After the parade the crowds will gather on the grounds of the State Capitol for the lighting of the official state Christmas tree.

There will also be a holiday sing-along led by the East Lansing-based. The Steiner Chorale.

If the weather cooperates there will be a fireworks display over the Capitol dome.
