PORTAGE, Mich (WLNS) – Final preparations are underway for Republican vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence to take the stage in Portage at the Air Zoo, an aviation museum.
It’s empty right now because crews are still setting up and the public had not been allowed in yet.
Pence is having a campaign rally to build support for himself and Donald Trump.
Polls show Hillary Clinton has a lead over Trump, however, Republicans are hoping to change that with multiple visits to Michigan in the final days before the election.
Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and Pence should take the stage by 3:30 p.m.
