Lansing firefighters rescue man, dogs from house fire

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Firefighters had their hands full this afternoon at a house fire in Lansing.

When crews arrived at the house on the 200 block of Bell Street they found there had been an apparent explosion and small fire.

They also found more than ten dogs on the property.

One man was taken to a local hospital for burns.

His condition is not known at this hour.

One of the dogs was also burned and is being treated.

The other dogs were removed by Ingham County Animal Control.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
