EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The University of Michigan may have beaten Michigan State University in a rivalry game on Saturday, but Spartan Nation still has a chance to top one competitor.

For the past 22 years, MSU and Penn State have held an annual show down to see who can donate the most blood to the American Red Cross.

Penn State is currently in the lead with 14 wins to MSU’s eight.

The match runs from Monday through November 20th.

U of M is also engaging Ohio State University in a similar event.
