UPDATE: Armed robbers hit Lansing Dollar General

UPDATE: This is the description of the two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery today at the Dollar General store in southwest Lansing today:

#1) Black male 25-30 yrs., 6’0” tall, black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants holding a hand gun and wearing a mask partially covering his face

#2) Light complexioned black male or Hispanic male 25-30 yrs., charcoal colored sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants. He also had a handgun and a mask over portions of his face.

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Lansing Police are searching for two men who are suspected of robbing a Dollar General store on the city’s southwest side.

Officers tell 6 News that two men walked into the Dollar General store on the 3500 block of South Waverly just after 11:30 a.m. today.

The men wore masks and at least one gun was shown.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.

They men ran from the store and headed west towards an apartment complex.

A K-9 team from Grand Ledge is assisting in the search.
