Homecoming home invasion as Spartans lose again

EAST LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Mark Dantonio has lead the Michigan State Spartans into uncharted waters through his career in East Lansing.

By dropping their fourth straight game this season the Spartans’ record is one that Dantonio has never seen in his tenure as a Spartan.

The Northwestern Wildcats thrashed the Spartans 54-40 in front of a MSU homecoming crowd.

The Spartans had an early 14-0 lead but gave that up when the ‘Cats came roaring back in the second quarter. And they kept roaring.

This is the first time the Spartans have lost four straight games since 2006 and it’s been since 1994 that the team has been 2-4.
