ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WLNS) – Sunday night’s presidential debate stirred up controversy between the two parties as both House Republicans and Democrats attacked their opposing nominees.
Democrats declared Hillary Clinton as the winner and stated that Donald Trump demeans women, avoids taxes and uses divisive language.
Republicans replied in support of Trump and said Clinton struggled to defend her record and ran from the truth about her email scandal.
On the local front, state Democrats and Republicans also illustrated a stark-contrast between the two presidential nominees.
The Michigan Democratic Party says Trump was un-presidential and not ready to lead the country.
They also stated that trump did not display good temperament and only cares about him-self and the wealthy.
The Michigan Republican Party said that Secretary Clinton failed to call-out radical Islamic terror and stated that the country cannot afford additional foreign policy mishaps.
The state G.O.P. also believes that Secretary Clinton’s economic plan will further bankrupt the country.
The next debate will be October 19th in Las Vegas.
It will be an identical format to the first debate and not a town hall style event.
