Mobile Secretary of State office travels to MSU for vote registration

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan’s Secretary of State Ruth Johnson is making voter registration as easy as possible for college students.

For the past month, a mobile Secretary of State office has been visiting college campuses across the state.

On Friday, October 7, the mobile unit will be at ‘The Rock’ on the Michigan State University campus.

The office will also be performing other Secretary of State services, such as changing addresses and renewing licenses.

The program supplements other efforts to increase voter registration, like reminder post-cards for people turning 18.

We welcome thoughts and comments from our viewers. We ask that everyone keep their remarks civil and respectful. Postings that contain profanity, racist, or potentially libelous remarks will be deleted. We will delete any commercial postings, as well.
