Five people ended up in the hospital on Thursday night after a chain-reaction accident involving a CATA bus.
It happened just before 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Lansing police say a pick-up truck ran a red light at the intersection of N. Pennsylvania and E. Oakland, crashing into the side of the bus and pushing the bus into several parked cars.
There were two 16-year-olds, a boy and a girl, in the truck. The boy was driving. Both ended up in the hospital.
The bus driver and two passengers on the bus were hurt, as well.
None of the injuries are life-threatening. A spokesperson for CATA says the driver has already been released from the hospital. The spokesperson did not know the condition of the passengers.
