Robber pulls gun, takes cash from Lansing gas station


LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – The search continues at this hour for a woman who robbed a gas station in south Lansing this morning.

Just before 6:40 a.m. today a white female walked into a Shell gas station in the 1700 block of South Waverly Road just south of I-496.

The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office tells 6 News that the woman pulled out a gun and demanded cash.

She took an unknown about of money and ran out of the station.

The suspect is described as 5’10” wearing black sweatpants with a gray stripe, a gray hoodie and a white knit mask with a cobra design on the mouth.

A K-9 team tracked the suspect to a side street where it is believed the woman got into a car and drove away.

No one was injured during the robbery.
