Thousands of people will be feeling the blues in Lansing on Friday and Saturday.
That’s because the Michigan BluesFest will be sounding off in Old Town. The event runs from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday night and from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
The festival includes performances by Lady Champagne & the Motor City Blues Crew and the David Gerald Band. The music will sound from two separate stages.
It also includes events for kids (from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday) and the “Turnaround Lounge” where music lovers can get a beer. Admission to the lounge is $5, but the festival itself is free.
