Doggone! The dog’s gone in Ionia County

IONIA CO., Mich (WLNS) – The Ionia County Animal Shelter works hard to find good homes for animals.

They have procedures and paperwork that they follow to complete the adoption process.

Looks like someone took a shortcut last week.

Now the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding Major the German Shepherd.

According to the Ionia County Sheriff Office Facebook page Major was taken from the Ionia County Animal Shelter on September 8 between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

If you have any information about Major’s location or any information on who took the dog is asked to contact the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office at 616-527-5737 and speak with Detective Brent Denny.

You can leave an anonymous tip by contacting Silent Observer at 616-527-0107.
