UPDATE: Power outage hits BWL customers in SE Lansing

UPDATE: The power has been restored for all Lansing Board of Water and Light customers affected by this morning’s outage.

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – A tripped circuit is being blamed for a power outage that has put about 342 Lansing Board of Water and Light customers in the dark.

According to the LBWL outage map the affected area is located primarily in southeast Lansing south of Mt. Hope and following along north on Aurelius Road.

A spokesperson for LBWL said power is expected to be restored before 11:00 a.m.
