Arrests made in Jackson Co. cold case

Tiffany Reichard and Michael Beatty face Open Murder charges

JACKSON, Mich (WLNS) – For seven years family and friends of a murdered Jackson County man were left with little to no answers on who committed the heinous act.

Today 6 News has learned two arrests have been made in that “cold case.”

Michael Beatty and Tiffany Reichard are now facing Open Murder charges in connection with the death of Matthew Cramton.

Back in January of 2009 police say Cramton was stabbed to death in his Summit Township home.

Beatty is already behind bars on multiple home invasion charges.

Reichard is expected to make her first court appearance this afternoon.

6 News will have a crew in the courtroom and we will update this story online and on 6 News tonight
