UPDATE: What you need to know before attending the Trump rally

Donald Trump addresses the Detroit Economic Club

(DIMONDALE, Mich.) – Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is making a stop in Dimondale Friday afternoon.

Are you planning to attend?

If so, there are a few things you need to know.

There are some things that will be prohibited at the Trump rally.

The event is at the Summit Sports and Ice Complex in Dimondale.

It starts at 5 p.m. but doors open at 2 p.m.

You can bring small bags and purses but you will not be able to carry large bags inside.

Also, remember all bags will be searched.

Firearms and knives are of course prohibited.

You can’t bring foods and liquids from home but water will be available outside of the complex and you will also have the option to buy food.

If you’re planning on taking a sign inside, that’s o.k. just make sure there are no sticks or hand-held attachments to your poster.

Parking will not be allowed on Davis Highway because there is only one-way in and one-way out, so expect slow traffic conditions.

There will be parking in the front and back lots and handicap spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The rally is a stand-only event so there will be no seating except for people with physical disabilities.

We welcome thoughts and comments from our viewers. We ask that everyone keep their remarks civil and respectful. Postings that contain profanity, racist, or potentially libelous remarks will be deleted. We will delete any commercial postings, as well.
