Gas prices continue to slide in Michigan

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Your timing is good if you’re about to hit the road and your car could use a drink.

Gas prices in Michigan have fallen about 9 cents in the past week.

That’s according to AAA Michigan.

That’s about 73 cents less than this time last year.

The average prices for a gallon of regular gas in Michigan right now is $2.24.

Locally in Lansing the lowest average price is about $2.09.

In Jackson the highest average price is about $2.31.
