Robbery attempt turns into brawl in Walmart

EATON CO., Mich (WLNS) – The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying and finding three suspects in connection with a robbery at the Delta Township Walmart store this morning.

6 News is told that six people entered the store just after 5:45 a.m. and selected a large amount of merchandise.

The group then tried to leave the store without paying for the items but were stopped by a group of employees.

The suspects began pepperspraying and fighting with the employees. Four employees were injured, including one who required hospitalization.

Three of the suspects were arrested and three left in a 2009 teal-colored Saturn Outlook with Michigan license plate CLP4763.
