“Fill The Freezer” fights hunger in Hillsdale County

HILLSDALE, Mich (WLNS) – Hunger is something we don’t often like to think about but for many people in Michigan not having food on the table is a reality.

Today one organization in Hillsdale County is hoping you can help them feed local families.

The Hillsdale County Community Foundation Youth want you to help them “Fill the Freezer”.

They’re asking you to donate not only frozen and non perishable food products but also bring in personal products as well.

You can bring your donations to the Hillsdale Market House on the 200 block of W. Carleton Road.

They hope to fill the freezer many times over by 6:00 p.m. tonight.

All donations will go to benefit “King’s Kupboard”, “Lifeline”, “Salvation Army” and other organizations in Hillsdale.

We welcome thoughts and comments from our viewers. We ask that everyone keep their remarks civil and respectful. Postings that contain profanity, racist, or potentially libelous remarks will be deleted. We will delete any commercial postings, as well.
