LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The annual Cristo Rey Fiesta kicked off tonight, complete with live Mariachi music and Mexican folk dancing!
Don’t forget about the food.
Josefina has been making gorditas at the fiesta for 15 years, and the shells are fried as you step up to the table. The ladies were kind enough to give 6 News a taste, and as reporter Jesse Kirsch proclaimed, “That’s what Friday should taste like.”
Head down Miller Road and get one before they’re gone. The fiesta runs Friday through Sunday night at the Cristo Rey Church, so there’s plenty of time for a visit or two!
