Random acts of kindness through ePIFanyNow

EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – It started with a room full of people, and a man who wanted to pass it forward.

“We have a tidal wave of people doing great acts of kindness and making a difference in somebody else’s life,” ePIFanyNow founder Bob Hoffman said.

Bob Hoffman started his organization ePIFanyNow to promote a caring community.

“The first epiphany was bringing people together to do this,” Hoffman said. “The second epiphany was it’s not about money. You can do this with time, talent and treasure.”

“Excuse me, here’s a rose for you for today and a card so maybe you can do something nice for someone else,” Sharon Ernest said.

Sharon Ernest is here at Meijer with her family to spread kindness.

“I think it’s very important for everyone to give back to others and to think of someone besides themselves,” Ernest said. “And then when you get the kids involved, it can start at an early age.”

“And we also have a card so you can do something nice for someone else and it just tells about our organization.”

Red roses can make a gloomy Sunday just a little bit brighter.

“I have a 3-year-old napping and I came to Meijer to buy hairspray and was just feeling blah about the weather, so this really does come at a good time, so I’m thankful,” Courtney Reynolds said.

“We want people to feel good about themselves today. It’s Sunday.”

“It like makes their day I guess, and it’s just a random act of kindness.”

A random act passing it forward can make an average day just a little better.
