Storms move out; fog moves in

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Give yourself some extra time if you are driving in mid-Michigan this morning.

Dense fog is being reported in areas in the wake of the heavy storms that moved through overnight.

Visibility is down to .3 of a mile in Lansing, Charlotte and Mason.

It’s a little better in Howell and Ionia with the visibility at .5 of a mile.

The further south you travel the better it gets.

Visibility is 10.0 miles in Battle Creek, Jackson and Ann Arbor.

StormTracker 6 meteorologist Emily Wahls says the fog will give way to clearing skies later today as temperatures climb into the 50s.
