(WFLA) – CRF Frozen Foods of Pasco, WA, has issued a voluntary recall for 15 frozen vegetable items that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.
According to FDA, the Listeria was discovered during routine testing by Ohio state health officials. It was found in a lot of Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) organic petite green peas and organic white sweet cut corn.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recalled products were distributed to retailers and distribution centers between Sept. 13, 2015 and March, 2016 in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan of Canada.
The products may have been distributed to other states as well.
The products were sold under different brands, including Wellsley Farms, sold at BJ’s.
