FOWLERVILLE, Mich. (WLNS) – The Michigan Department of Transportation is starting a major freeway project and they say they’ll do their best to lessen the impact on drivers.
Those repairs will take place on I-96 between M-52 and Fowlerville Road starting Friday.
Crews will be patching concrete and resurfacing ramps at the I-96/ M-52 interchange.
There will be single-lane closures on westbound I-96.
It won’t last too long.
The work starts Friday at 9 p.m. and should wrap up 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
However, beginning next week, there will be around the clock weekend lane closures in that area until mid-May.
