Officials need help to ID robbery suspect

EATON COUNTY, MI (WLNS) – The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to identify a man they say robbed a person at gunpoint.

It happened around 9 p.m. on March 18 in the 5100 block of W. Saginaw Highway in the Meijer store parking lot.

Officials say the armed man took cash from the victim.

He is described as a white man, 20-30 years old with short, dark hair. At the time he was wearing a grey coat with a white checkered shirt underneath and khaki pants. After the robbery, the suspect took off the grey coat and left on foot.

If you have any information or can identify the suspect, you’re asked to call Detective Rick Buxton at 517-323-8484.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.
