Jackson man survives a 40-feet-fall after an accident in Ohio

TOLEDO, OHIO (WLNS) – A 20-year-old Jackson man is in critical condition inside an Ohio hospital after his vehicle plunged 40 feet off a bridge.

According to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot, 20-year-old Skylar Mast was driving north along I-75 south of Toledo early Saturday morning.

Ohio State Troopers say his car hit a concrete barrier wall, went airborne, slammed into a bridge then fell 40 feet onto a set of train tracks.

Mast was flown to a nearby hospital.

He’s listed as critical but stable.

Ohio police say he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
