LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Leaving snow totals ranging from just a few inches to nearly a foot this second snow storm in a week is moving on.
In its wake are more than 120 closed schools and miles of clogged roads.
Road crews have been plowing and salting all through the night and most main roads have been cleared but caution is still strongly advised if you are driving.
Side roads may not have seen a plow overnight. 6 News This Morning reporter Mariah Harrison found that under the top layer of snow on the side streets could be a layer of ice. If you are driving this morning allow yourself extra time and leave plenty of room between you and the driver in front of you.
