UPDATE: 3 AM (AP) – Officials are reporting a 14-year-old girl is now reported dead after being shot outside a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Kalamazoo, the seventh person killed in the mass shooting.

Police are questioning the 45-year-old white man who is suspected of the string of shootings from last night.

KALAMAZOO, MICH (AP) – Police are reporting 6 people dead, and 3 injured in a shooting where the suspect is still at large.

Two of the injured are in critical condition and one is in serious condition.

Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas says a manhunt is under way for a suspect described as an older white male, perhaps in his 50s, driving a dark blue vehicle.

The shootings took place on Saturday evening in parking lots at three locations – a Cracker Barrel restaurant, a Ford dealership and an apartment complex.

Matyas says that police believe the shootings do not appear to be targeting certain people.

“These are random murders,” he said.
