The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the man they say caused a scare at the Lansing mall on Valentine’s Day. John B. Crawford, 27 of Lansing is facing two traffic citations and driving with a suspended license. He’s also accused of resisting and obstructing police and disturbing the peace. Crawford’s bond is set at $5,000 cash/surety.
EATON COUNTY, MI (WLNS) – Sheriff’s officials have arrested a 27-year-old Lansing man who caused quite a scare at the Lansing Mall on Valentine’s Day.
Officials say they were called to the mall after shoppers saw the man wearing a bullet-proof vest and carrying at least two guns.
When officials got to the scene the man showed signs of intoxication and resisted officials.
Further investigation showed the guns were air soft replica guns.
