Woman robs gas station and takes off with cash

BLACKMAN TOWNSHIP, MI. (WLNS) – Police in Jackson County are looking for a woman who they say held-up a gas station and stole cash.

It happened early Monday morning, now police in Blackman Township are turning to the public for help.

The call for help came from the Admiral gas station on Page Avenue not long after midnight.

According to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot, a woman walked in, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

When she got it, she took-off.

Police are hoping the public will help identify the suspect.

Police say she was last seen wearing a green coat, blue stocking hat, a camouflage scarf and pink shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the number on your screen.
