Common Ground announces first headliner for July fest

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – The calendar says January but Common Ground Music Festival organizers are already announcing who will headline the July festival.

Country star Dierks Bentley will step into the spotlight when he takes the stage Saturday, July 9.

Bentley began his career in 2003 when his debut single “What Was I Thinkin'” hit number one on the Billboard Hot Country charts.

Over the past 13 years Bentley has released seven albums, won two CMA awards and was nominated for 12 Grammys.

Single day tickets for the July 9 show go on sale Friday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m.

The rest of the Saturday lineup will be announced soon.

This year’s festival runs July 5th – July 10th at Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing.
