Ionia County warning of phishing scam

IONIA, MI (WLNS) – The Portland Credit Union says several members have been the victims of a phishing scam.

If you receive a text message or an e-mail from Portland Federal Credit Union, you’re asked to not open the e-mail or text. For those who received an e-mail or text like this and already opened it, you’re warned not to call the 1-800 number listed.

If you believe your Portland Credit Union account has been compromised, contact PFCU to place a flag on your account.

You can also contact one of the three major credit reporting agencies. TransUnion: 800-493-2392, Experian: 888-397-3742, or EquaFax: 800-685-1111.
