Snow tracks lead police to robbery suspects

JACKSON, MI. (WLNS) – Two people, who Jackson police say broke the law, are in custody and the snow played a big role in their arrest.

It all started with an armed robbery on the 1200 block of Woodsum Street Tuesday morning.

A pizza delivery person called 911 to report they’d just been robbed by two people at gunpoint.

Police say those suspects ran off with cash and the pizza.

They ran about four blocks.

Police knew this because their footprints in the snow lead officers and police dogs to a home about four blocks away on Greenwood Avenue.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man for the robbery.
