SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI- Tow trucks, and snow plows finally out on the job after several inches of snow fell across Mid-Michigan.
“As far as business I love the snow, the more snow the better” Marvin Liddell said he was happy to get a call from his boss to come him to work as this dry and warmer winter season has kept his pockets bare.
“If it’s not snowing we don’t have much work to do” Liddell said.
But that changed Sunday, Liddell said he and other crews plowed and salted for more than 7 hours.
And while many people are hunkering down to avoid the cold and snow, he and the other workers at Landmark Landscape are out in the elements and all smiles.
“It could snow every day for the next a hundred days and I’d be ok with it, I’d make a lot of money” Liddell said.
And while the plows are back in action, local tow companies are too.
Tennessee from PJ Towing said he and other drivers have been pulling vehicles from ditches all day across the capital region.
“And I’m pretty sure there’s going to be many more to come” Tennessee said.
And it looks like this winter weather is here to stay at least for a while.
These local workers said they are more than ready to handle anything Mother Nature throws their way.
