Gunman robs northwest Lansing gas station

LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – Lansing Police are searching a neighborhood on the northwest side of the city for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery.

Just before 7:00 p.m. police were called to the Admiral gas station at the corner of North Grand River Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr.

Witnesses say a man with a gun walked into the station and demanded money.

The employee gave him a small amount of cash and the man ran into the neighborhood.

Police canine teams searched the area but were unable to track the suspect.

There were no injuries.
