Two men wanted in attempted convenience store robbery

LANSING, MI. (WLNS) – LANSING, MI. (WLNS) – Lansing police are searching for two men who they say tried to rob a local business and fired shots in the parking lot.

It happened around Sunday night on the 1300 block of Malcolm X Street.

Witnesses told police two men wearing blue hoodies walked into the store and tried to rob them at gunpoint.

The suspects left before getting any cash.

According to police, the store owner pulled out a gun and fired several shots in their direction as they ran off.

The men pulled off in a maroon minivan.

Anyone with information on this attempted robbery is asked to call the Lansing Police Investigations Division at 517-483-6800.
