Lansing City Council board members schedule to choose next president

LANSING, MI. (WLNS) – The residents of Lansing elected the Lansing City council months ago and now council members will have a chance to use those voices that they were voted for.

The council will hold a special meeting ahead of its regular meeting Monday so board members can discuss and choose the next board president and vice-president.

The previous president, Derrick Quinney, is no longer on the council and neither is his predecessor, A’lynne Boles.

Council officers serve one year terms.
