Drivers hits pole and flees scene

LANSING, MI. (WLNS) – Flames, a crumpled car, pieces of a pole but no driver… that was the scene first responders in Lansing were looking at Sunday evening.

Police are still looking for the driver responsible.

Around 5:00 p.m., police raced to the 3500 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. BLVD for reports of a car crash.

They found the vehicle empty but on fire.

If you know who abandoned it you’re asked to call the Lansing Police Department.
