MSU fans burn couch following heartbreaking Cotton Bowl loss

EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – At least one couch suffered following MSU’s heartbreaking loss to Alabama in the Cotton Bowl.

It happened around 11:45 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Grove Street, near Burcham.

Our crew on scene says there was a small couch fire. By the time 6 News arrived there were only a few pieces of the couch left.

Over at Cedar Village, which is a traditional hot spot following basketball and football games, there was not a whole lot going on. This may have something to do with MSU students being on winter break. East Lansing Police were ready and had several police cars stationed nearby in case of any rioting.
