UPDATE: Recovery continues after icy storm knocks out power to thousands

UPDATE – For many area counties, power has been restored. However, as of 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, there are still more than 1,600 people without power in Branch, Hillsdale, Jackson and Lenawee counties combined.

According to the Consumers Energy Outage Map the latest numbers are:

The storm is expected to continue into early Tuesday morning.
