Utility crews on standby for winter storm

LANSING, MI. (WLNS) – Utility officials here in Mid-Michigan will remain on standby as they expect the weather to knock the power out for many customers.

BWL and Consumers officials say they will have crews on standby all day Monday to quickly restore power should outages occur.

Officials also say in an event of a downed power line customers should report them by calling the numbers on your screen and stay at least 25 feet away.

You can check the Lansing Board of Water and Light Outage map for current updates or the Consumers Energy Outage map for status of power in your area.
