LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MI (WLNS) – A high school substitute teacher has been removed from his position at a Livingston County School District after district officials say they investigated an inappropriate e-mail sent to a student.

According to our media partners at WHMI the investigation began last Thursday at Pinckney High School.

Parents in the district have since received a letter saying no evidence was found on the accused teacher’s district-issued computer.

But they say, evidence of inappropriate communications was sent out.

The district removed the accused teacher from his position as soon as the allegations came to light.

Right now the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is also investigating the incident.
